New Design, New Content

Well it’s time to roll out another new design. It seems I make just about as many designs as posts these days. But I figured I’d start getting back into the whole writing thing, might as well get warmed up for when I start back up with school in a month.

So I haven’t written for quite some time for a few reasons. One - I have had absolutely nothing to say about anything. Two - I’ve been working on a few projects with a few people, and Three - any spare time goes to chillaxin’ with people on Vent.

For those of you who don’t know, I run a vent server off of either my mac or linux box here at home. When I set everything up a few friends usually hop on and we end up playing kdice or listening to dave rant about some random shit. btw - (Ventrilo = VoIP app that takes super low bandwidth, and a hell of a lot less recourses than Skype.) I feel this is worth mentioning because I think that anyone who comes to this blog, should stop by the server some time. The domain to connect to is Looce.com, and you just use the default port and hit connect. Once you’re on you can talk to either me, or a few other people on the server. So stop on by, if you have any questions about joining up sometime just post a comment.

So this new design is part of me attempting to get back into blogging. I fell out sometime in the middle of winter and I never really got back into it. In the last few weeks I’ve been wanting to do something that took some creative spark and I figured that starting to blog again might just hit the spot. So here I am writing this post.

I’ve also made the decision to turn things into more of a tumblelog, in the sense that posts will be a lot shorter, some will be a few words, a link, or just even an image. Doing this will allow me to keep posting. In the past I’ve always hesitated to complete writing a post as I would get half way through it and it wouldn’t be long enough, so I held back the posts. So now I can and will be posting little things just too keep things flowing.

A few things to know about the design: It is based on Sandbox, uses MooTools for the footer javascript, and was inspired by the music of Isis, Soilwork, Tool, and Nine Inch Nails
