November, week 3

Hey everyone, I’m going to dive right in and give a few updates. I’m going to be writing about the things that I didn’t post all week, and we’ll see how it goes :D.

So this week, as some of you know, started off with a bang. On monday I got to go and see Alice In Chains, which is one of my favorite bands. All I can say is that it was amazing.

It was at First Avenue, which is a really cool venue. I like it because it’s pretty small, and the way the stage is set up, it’s really not that big, and is right there with the crowd.

The night started with a band called Hurt, which really wasn’t all that good. I’ve listened to their album, and didn’t like it at all. Then hearing them live, things sounded a little better, I mean their drums were pretty good, but otherwise, I didn’t like them too much. Their singer reminds me of Jack Black, but he looks more serious, heh.

Then Alice In Chains came on, and everyone rushed forward. They played all of their best songs, and the crowd was with them all the way. The place was really alive. They played for, what seemed like, a good solid 2 hours. Then they decided to call it quits for the night, so they finished up, walked off, and the crowd stayed put.

We all stayed there for about 2 minutes, and then we all started screaming “WE WANT ALICE!” We did that for maybe 5 minutes, and they came back out to play 4 more songs! The songs were some of their more well known singles. So it was really sweet, and the crowd was more alive than they had been the whole night.

That was just monday. The rest of the week was pretty lame. On tuesday I did a bunch of homework, which was pretty shitty.

On wednesday, I put in a few hours of work, and then did a bunch more of homework. This was the remaining homework that I had to do from being out of school for the entire week, the week before. So I was really happy to get that done.

Then thursday, Chess club started up. For those of you who don’t know, I used to play chess a lot, and I really loved it. I got into it, and then one day I said fuck it, and basically lost interest. Last year, I gave up chess club and started working on flock. I really lost interest in chess, and I thought I’d go back this year. Of course I’m bringing my stalker, jesus, back with me as well.

So I went to chess club, and it was fun. I met some crazy conservative republican christian kid, who didn’t know what the fuck he was talking about. He started talking about how great president bush is, and how people should be pro life, and hate stem cell research. I almost punched the kid out, but I didn’t, after a while you kinda feel sorry for those kind of people, especially when they’re freshman, and don’t know what’s going on. I really hope that kid learns that everything his parents feeds him, isn’t true.

Then friday was pretty cool. It went by very fast. I had fun in my fourth hour class. In German, my teacher Herr Huber, who has to be one of the best teachers in the country, took us to the foods room, where him and some french guy cooked pancakes. They were romanian pancakes, so they were really thin, and we rolled them up, I put applesauce, cinnamon, and powdered sugar on mine, it tasted awesome.

After that things went by really really fast. After school I went home, took a nap, and chilled out for the rest of the night, I wrote a book review, which you can view here.

With that review, I guess I’m going to be writing more often for HtmlCenter. The site is really old, it started back in 1996, and has been around to help people throughout the years. I think that I’m going to do a few tutorials about xhtml and css basics, and a few things on web standards. I really think that I’ll enjoy writing for HtmlCenter.

With that said, that’s a week! Now I have to find out how to make $100 by tuesday. I think that I’m going to do a ReviewMe post, and maybe a payperpost post somewhere in the next day or two. Who knows, when people need money, quick, they’ll be hypocrites. And you all know how much of a Hippocratic I am! :D

On thursday, on Amazon, they are selling Xbox 360’s for $100. I would rather pay $100 now, instead of $300 later, wouldn’t you?
